Who pays
Agreed in the deal terms
The buyer, seller, or both can pay the fee. The parties agree on the allocation in the deal terms.
Simple transaction pricing
MarineClose charges exactly 1% of the agreed sale price, only if the deal closes, regardless of where the deal originated. Any partner charges are agreed separately between you and your client.
This is the fee for using the MarineClose system, not the total cost of closing. Independent broker commissions and holder, legal, tax, documentation and registry charges are separate, as agreed for your deal.

Who pays

Third-party costs
The platform fee excludes separately agreed brokerage commissions, escrow-holder or closing-agent charges, legal and documentation charges, taxes, registry, filing and transfer costs, bank wire fees and surveys. Any cancellation or transfer-processing charges depend on the agreed terms. No holder fee is represented as included.
Software for your closing workflow
These are software tools, not a promise of active or prepaid third-party services. Identity checks and signatures require the appropriate provider setup, permissions and review. No independent holder has agreed to handle MarineClose transactions; live funding and release remain unavailable. Holder and other third-party charges must be agreed separately.
Purchase funds are held by an independent escrow holder or closing agent named in each deal's escrow instructions — never by MarineClose. MarineClose is not a bank. The escrow holder, account structure and any deposit-insurance coverage are stated in each deal's escrow instructions.
For brokers
Broker accounts add an optional hosted entry page with your brokerage name, a proposed payout split for up to 10 recipients (a record for review, not a live bank transfer) and the broker dashboard.
