MarineClose AI features

AI assistance for your vessel deal.

MarineClose offers optional draft assistance using permitted deal information and selected source material. A configured provider and an explicit authorized request are required. Review sources and outputs yourself: AI does not verify identity, approve legal documents or authorize payments. Other integrations are topics for discussion, not an available partner or API program.

Document preparation

From vessel research to a document ready for signature

Start with a vessel spec sheet or broker’s recap. Review the particulars, choose what belongs in the deal record and flag what still needs confirmation.

Documents you can draft

These five Generate Draft options use the deal record and a document outline with a configured AI service. They require the appropriate permissions and completed proposed legal details. Every result is a working draft for human review.

Purchase agreements
Outline the parties, vessel, price, delivery and proposed sale conditions for legal review.
Bills of sale
Prepare a draft transfer instrument for counsel and your documentation agent to check against registry requirements.
Survey requests
Set out the vessel, inspection scope, access arrangements and questions for the surveyor. This does not book a survey.
Closing statements
Organise proposed costs, fees and credits to check against agreed figures—not as confirmation that money has moved.
Escrow instructions
Prepare proposed deposit, document and release conditions for the parties and their chosen holder to agree. A draft does not appoint a holder or authorise payment.

When a counteroffer changes the delivery date

The team checks the counteroffer against the draft and the affected wording. Counsel can revise the language or accept or reject a proposed change through their own editing and review process.

Permitted reviewers can record a decision on an AI finding in MarineClose. That decision does not rewrite the document, approve its legal terms or sign it.

Review first. Then arrange signature.

Confirm the version and authorised signers with the deal team and counsel. A permitted participant must authorise any sending step; the named signers sign for themselves. DocuSign execution requires a configured, enabled signing workflow—it is not an automatic next step from Generate Draft. Otherwise, arrange signing outside the room.

The room shows pending and recorded signatures. An uploaded signed copy, an in-room version acknowledgement and a development simulation are not provider-confirmed execution.

Retain the executed original. Check registry and notary requirements with your documentation agent; electronic signing alone may not satisfy them.

Where AI can help your deal team

Examples for buyers, sellers and invited advisers. Available assistance depends on the configured tools and the records each person is allowed to see.

Find the open survey item

An invited surveyor reviews the records shared with them. Use the checklist to identify an outstanding inspection item and draft a request for the missing evidence.

Prepare for signatures and closing

The closing team asks which signatures are outstanding and who needs to act next. Review the list against the deal record before contacting the signers.

Ask for a draft or explanation using information you are allowed to access. Requests require an available configured provider; select relevant sources and review the result before using it.

Discuss this path

Useful intelligence, without a mystery layer

Show the source. Keep the decision with people.

Check source references, missing information and conflicting suggestions. AI output is a draft for human review—not proof of identity, legal compliance or authority to pay.
